We are delighted to inform you that Call-2 for the PASIFIC Postdoctoral Fellowships Programme was opened on 15 September 2021. PASIFIC is coordinated by the Polish Academy of Sciences and co-financed by the European Union under the MSCA COFUND scheme (Horizon 2020).
In the second call, 15 researchers of any nationality and representing all research disciplines will be offered a possibility to pursue their research for two years at one of the 69 Polish Academy of Sciences institutes and the International Institute of Molecular and Cell Biology. PASIFIC Call 2 deadline is 30 December 2021.
Like the last time, in order to ensure adequate representation of male and female researchers, we promote the PASIFIC among various organisations supporting women in academia. The Programme offers direct benefits such as family allowance or the 18-month extension (for each child) of the required period of the past 5 years from which the scientific achievements should be presented in the application form. Particular attention is also paid to the gender balance among experts evaluating the proposals.
Moreover, applicants who were not successful in the first call are free to resubmit their improved proposal or apply with a completely new research idea.
